About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a Cashier, also described as a Customer Service Associate, to provide friendly and efficient customer service in a fast-paced convenience store. The role involves operating the register and POS system, supporting customers with store services, and helping keep the store clean, stocked, safe, and running smoothly. The listed pay rate is $14.50.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
Able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, both inside and outside.
Operate and maintain food and beverage machines, including coffee, fountain drinks, and hot food equipment.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
Assist customers with the pump, car wash, or air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow laws governing age-restricted sales, including alcohol, tobacco, and lottery.
Complete required training and shift duties.
