About The Position

The Cashier interacts with customers as they enter and leave the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service. The role requires evening and weekend work and involves an irregular schedule in a retail store environment with both cold and warm conditions. The Cashier reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Handle cash accurately.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
