About The Position
Lunds & Byerlys Ridgedale is hiring a vibrant and outgoing part-time Cashier to create a sensational shopping experience for customers. This seasonal position will end on or before December 31, 2026. Employees are scheduled for a range of shifts between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The store operates seven days a week and is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The position pays $14.00–$21.00 per hour; the actual rate offered may depend on skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience, and the company considers internal equity when making offers. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. Cashiers greet and assist customers, scan items, enter pricing data, process payments, and package groceries. The ideal candidate is a team player who assists where needed, treats customers and coworkers respectfully, brings innovative retail solutions, and helps create a friendly, welcoming environment. Customer service experience is preferred; communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are required.
