About The Position
MAP Automotive is hiring a Cashier for Cumberland Auto Center. The role supports Parts and Service transactions by collecting and processing payments, closing invoices, reconciling daily deposit reports, and answering incoming switchboard calls. The Cashier is expected to be courteous and helpful to customers and fellow employees and to assist with other office duties as needed or requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of math or accounting.
Responsibilities
- Collect payment on Parts and Service invoices.
- Receipt cash and check payments.
- Process credit card payments and refunds.
- Enter payment information to close invoices.
- Run and reconcile reports for daily deposits.
- Answer incoming calls from the switchboard.
- Be courteous and helpful to customers and fellow employees.
- Perform other office duties as needed or requested.
