About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a Cashier, also described as a Customer Service Associate, to provide friendly, fast customer service and help keep the store clean, stocked, and operating smoothly. The role involves operating a modern POS system, handling payments, maintaining food and beverage equipment, restocking merchandise, and assisting customers with store services. The position requires working weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, and may involve working alone or with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
• Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, inside and out.
• Operate and maintain coffee, fountain drink, and hot food machines.
• Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist customers with pumps, the car wash, or the air hose as needed.
• Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
• Follow laws governing age-restricted sales, including alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales.
• Complete required training and shift duties.
