About The Position

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly is a 100% employee-owned grocery chain with 10 locations in Southeastern Wisconsin and has been recognized as a “Top Workplace” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for several years in a row. The Cashier reports directly to the Customer Service Manager and helps ensure customer transactions run smoothly to maximize customer satisfaction. The role includes front-end checking, stocking, facing, and general housekeeping duties when instructed. The position requires flexible shift schedules, overtime, and weekend work.

Requirements

Experience in customer service; retail or grocery experience is preferred.
Ability to perform front-end duties, practices, and procedures in a retail or grocery environment.
Self-directed and results-oriented, with a positive business image and the ability to lead by example.
Good attention to detail and follow-through skills.
Good customer-relations skills.
Ability to work efficiently with weights, measures, scales, and tallying unit product retail prices.
Ability to operate a cash register.
Must meet the position’s physical requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old to operate certain department equipment.
Availability for flexible shift schedules, overtime, and weekends.
