Requirements

  • Previous cash handling experience in a high volume establishment.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practice safety and sanitation standards.
  • Recycle products when possible.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lb cash bags.
  • Positive attitude toward staff.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills – that can be factually verified by peers and prior supervisors.
  • Ability to illustrate consultative skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills through ability to diagnose and develop recommended solutions.
  • Potential and aspiration to serve as a Hard Rock General Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate handling of restaurant financial transactions.
  • Ensuring prompt and courteous service to all restaurant guests.
  • Counting, documenting, and preparing all monies received for deposit.
  • Cashing out servers, bartenders, and retail sales associates.
  • Reconciling daily credit card transactions.
  • Making daily deposits and preparing bank manifests.
  • Creating and maintaining the armored car log.
  • Processing “party” deposits.
  • Managing petty cash and petty cash log, ensuring requests are approved before disbursement.
  • Reconciling vouchers.
  • Building daily cash bags.
  • Assisting with chargebacks.
  • Performing change runs.
  • Balancing the safe (3 times per day).
  • Cashing out Box Office, Live, and Banquet employees (if applicable).
  • Processing “paid ins” and “paid outs” for employees.
  • Notifying management of over/shorts.
  • Processing manual hotel charges (if applicable).
  • Handling direct bill payments.
  • Potentially acting as the “Cafe Receptionist” as determined by the GM/DO.
