About The Position

A Domino’s Cashier handles monetary transactions in a fast-paced restaurant, provides customer service, and serves as a liaison between customers, managerial staff, and kitchen staff. The role includes taking and processing orders, managing payments and the cash drawer, helping ensure orders are completed and delivered promptly, and keeping the restaurant’s front and dining areas clean and stocked. Cashiers may help cook and work in the kitchen when necessary, but only as backup.

Requirements

• Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Able to understand and work with numbers.
• Able to follow directions and achieve goals.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow a schedule, be punctual, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly.
• Able to communicate effectively with a variety of clientele.
• Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers politely in person, by phone, and at the drive-through.
• Accurately record orders at the counter, over the phone, and at the drive-through.
• Process orders through the Pulse system.
• Monitor completed orders and ensure prompt delivery to waiting customers.
• Help expedite and complete orders with all requested sides and extras.
• Promote in-store offers when applicable.
• Collect customer payments and provide correct change.
• Process credit and debit card transactions.
• Manage the cash drawer and ensure it is balanced at the end of the shift.
• Use a drop box to keep the amount of cash in the till at the required level.
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
• Keep the front counter and box hutch and box-stocking areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Clean the dining area, including wiping tables and booths, sweeping and mopping floors as needed, and taking out trash.
• Clean lobby windows and the outside of the soda machine.
• Restock dining-area supplies, including napkins, straws, lids, and seasoning shakers.
• Clean and restock Coke coolers.
• Clean and restock public and employee restrooms during and at the end of the shift.
• Help cook food and work in the kitchen when necessary as backup.
