About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store duties, such as helping prepare pizzas, assisting with orders, stocking ingredients, and supporting the team. Domino’s provides training for deliveries and in-store work. The position offers opportunities to advance from delivery driving into management and potentially franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Ability to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform required bending, crouching, reaching, and hand tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Talking and hearing on the telephone, and near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
Depth perception.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
Change prices on signs, wash walls, and perform maintenance when needed.
