About The Position

A Domino’s Cashier handles monetary transactions in a fast-paced restaurant environment and provides customer service. The role takes and processes orders, serves as a liaison among customers, management, and kitchen staff, and keeps the restaurant’s front area clean, organized, and stocked. Cashiers may help in the kitchen only as backup when necessary. Relevant training is provided on the job.

Requirements

Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
Ability to understand and work with numbers.
Ability to follow directions and achieve goals.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow a schedule, arrive on time, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Sales experience.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers politely in person, by phone, and at the drive-through.
Accurately record orders at the counter, over the phone, and at the drive-through.
Process orders through the Pulse system.
Monitor completed orders and ensure prompt delivery to waiting customers.
Help expedite orders and ensure they include all sides and extras.
Promote in-store offers when applicable.
Collect customer payments, provide correct change, and process credit and debit card transactions.
Manage the cash drawer, ensure it balances at the end of the shift, and use a drop box to keep the cash in the till at the required level.
Listen to and address customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
Keep the front counter and box stocking areas organized, clean, and stocked.
Clean the dining area, including tables, booths, floors, windows, and trash removal.
Restock dining-area supplies, including napkins, straws, lids, and seasoning shakers.
Clean the soda machine and wipe down and restock Coke coolers.
Clean and restock public and employee restrooms throughout the shift and at its end.
Help cook food and perform kitchen work when necessary, as backup only.
