About The Position

As a Cashier, you provide fast and friendly service and contribute to a positive customer experience. You process transactions, answer questions, and may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. The role is internally referred to as Front End Team Member and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term role lasting no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Passion for best-in-class customer service and a team-player mindset.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of work experience; 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including verifying identification, handling payments, answering inquiries, promoting the loyalty program, and bagging products.
Deliver exceptional, personalized service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
Follow applicable laws and regulations for alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
