About The Position

The Cashier listens and responds appropriately to customer needs, maintains extensive product knowledge, and demonstrates professionalism at the point of sale. The role supports a rewarding customer experience while completing sales transactions accurately and efficiently and maintaining cash accountability. It also assists with store operations, merchandise processing and replenishment, and other duties as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years of retail experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to process information or merchandise through a computer system and POS register system.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Maintain outstanding customer service, demonstrate product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address customer concerns at the point of sale.
Reinforce a rewarding customer experience.
Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash accountability at registers.
Assist with store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
Assist with processing and replenishing merchandise, receiving, and monitoring floor stock.
Occasionally perform work outside the specific role.
