About The Position

Parks Auto Parts is hiring a full-time Cashier, also referred to in the posting as a Counter Representative, to assist customers with their purchases. Parks Auto Parts is a growing aftermarket auto parts distributor that has served the Charleston area since 1946. The role involves helping walk-in customers find and purchase parts, answering questions about vehicle-related issues, handling cash, stocking and pulling parts, answering phones, and keeping the store and front counter clean. The starting pay is $15 per hour and is negotiable based on experience.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to perform duties involving walking, squatting, and lifting; heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more may be required.
