About The Position
Bettenhausen Automotive is looking for part-time Service Cashiers to join our team in Tinley Park! This role involves handling customer payments, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Previous Automotive experience preferred
- Accounting knowledge is a plus – this position can provide great experience for accounting majors!
Responsibilities
- Receipting monies collected for service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and vehicle sales
- Assist with scheduling service appointments for customers.
- Verify service and parts invoices are closed properly with the correct pay codes.
- Guaranteeing checks through the UTA guarantee system following policy guidelines
- Balancing the cash drawer and finalizing the deposit.
- Provide backup coverage for main reception desk
- Organize and file service and accounting files as needed; purge files when necessary.
- Light lifting
