About The Position

The Cashier Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining customer service according to company standards and supporting sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point-of-sale operations, freight processing, and loss prevention in adherence to company policies and store standards. The role involves assisting customers, staying informed about products and promotions, supporting store presentation, and helping other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiarity with operating a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and help customers locate products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with all associates.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products sold by Coastal Farm.
• Stay aware of product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning, including vacuuming, replacing full trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
