About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a successful gaming and casino entertainment company in the United States. We are seeking a Cashier/Host to greet and escort restaurant guests, answer phones, book reservations, process payments, and assist with station assignments and room operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and guest service skills, be detail-oriented and organized, and able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized to effectively and efficiently multi-task.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Must be able to communicate (hear, speak, read, and write) in English.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any other necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Six (6) months of experience as a host in a high volume and/or fine dining environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort restaurant guests to their table based on the number of persons in their party and according to assigned stations.
• Answer phones and book reservations utilizing the company reservation system in accordance with established standards.
• Process payment transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with station assignments, rotating planning, and opening/closing/securing the room.
• Complete side work duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
