CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Eurest is hiring a full-time Cashier/Food Service Worker at Shorenstein in Plano, Texas. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; further details will be provided during the interview. Previous experience is required. The pay range is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. The role operates a point-of-sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps cashier and coffee stations clean. It also includes helping prepare food and catering orders, serving customers in retail areas, maintaining cash accuracy, restocking and recording inventory, and setting up serving lines while monitoring and recording food temperatures. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and assist with catering orders.
- Perform cashier duties using the point-of-sale system.
- Perform general cleaning duties and remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
- Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
- Cash out according to established procedures, maintain cash accuracy with receipts, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
- Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
- Set up the serving line, take and record temperatures, ensure they are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks when food temperatures are outside acceptable limits.
- Serve hot and cold items to customers.
- Set up items for purchase daily.
- Keep refrigerators stocked and rotate products using the first-in, first-out rule.
- Stock pantries with correct daily par levels and record replenished amounts on floor stock forms.
- Record refrigerator temperatures daily on floor stock forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
