About The Position

Support the cooperative’s mission by providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and maintaining a clean and efficient store environment. Contribute to a positive team culture while meeting sales and operational goals. The position supports the manager with sales targets, store operations, inventory, food preparation, customer service, and compliance with safety and food-handling requirements.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Basic cash-handling skills and ability to operate a register.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Comfort receiving and implementing feedback.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and handling materials.
Good finger and wrist dexterity for food preparation and register operation.

Responsibilities

Support the manager in meeting monthly sales targets.
Promote, sell, and distribute store products to enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain product inventory, including receiving and stocking deliveries and supplies.
Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
Provide friendly and professional customer service, including addressing concerns.
Ensure the store, equipment, and facilities are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
Prepare food items consistently according to portion, quality, and presentation standards.
Follow all cooperative, state, and federal policies and procedures.
Attend required safety and food-handling training.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines required by cooperative, state, and federal regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
