About The Position

The Cashier/Deli Associate is a full-time role responsible for providing customers with a welcoming, positive experience while maintaining food quality. The associate is expected to demonstrate exceptional customer service, serve high-quality products, and contribute to a team-oriented environment. The position is with Northdale Oil Inc., a family-owned organization, at a new location. Benefits are available after six months of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and problem-solve.
• Understanding of food quality.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Assist with performing, implementing, and enforcing daily operating procedures to keep the deli clean, stocked, organized, and well maintained.
• Maintain quality brand image standards.
• Maintain product quality and manage waste.
• Stock, label, date, rotate, prepare, and cook food products.
• Follow proper food preparation methods, portion sizes, and food presentation standards.
• Communicate merchandising problems, price change requests, and equipment problems.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Follow and ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations.
