The Cashier/Deli Associate provides a welcoming, positive customer experience and helps maintain food quality. The position involves cashier and deli operations, including keeping the deli clean, stocked, organized, and well maintained; preparing and cooking food; and following food quality, merchandising, and safety standards. The posted pay is $16 per hour. Benefits are available after six months of employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and problem-solve.
Understanding of food quality.
Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high level of customer service.
Assist with performing, implementing, and enforcing daily operating procedures to keep the deli clean, stocked, organized, and well maintained.
Maintain quality brand image standards.
Maintain product quality and manage waste.
Stock, label, date, rotate, prepare, and cook food products.
Follow proper food preparation practices, portion sizes, and food presentation standards.
Communicate merchandising problems, price change requests, and equipment problems.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Follow and ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations.
