About The Position

Mach 1 Stores of Tilton, Illinois is hiring an entry-level Customer Service Associate to greet customers and handle store operations. The associate is the face of the convenience store and makes customer service the top priority while assisting customers with purchases. The role also involves cashiering, keeping merchandise stocked and fronted, following company guidelines and workplace safety practices, and completing tasks assigned by the store manager. These tasks may include cleaning and maintaining equipment, floors, pumps, and the lot. AM, PM, and overnight shifts are available. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour, with a $0.25 increase each quarter for one year and double time for holidays. The company provides side-by-side training with the manager. A background screen is required.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age.
Able to lift periodically.
Able to walk and stand for the duration of a shift.
Able and willing to work weekends and holidays.
Friendly, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Background screen required.

Previous cashier or convenience store experience; experience is not required, and training is provided.
