About The Position
The Cashier Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; processes customer purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and helps maintain merchandise presentation, store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction goals. Associates follow company procedures, labor laws, policies, and standards, and may perform other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position at the Marshalls store in Avon, Indiana. The starting pay range is USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
