About The Position

Marshalls Seasonal Associates deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and following the company’s customer experience principles. They help maintain a clean, organized, and safe store, and follow operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is seasonal at the Marshalls store at 8505 Blanco Road in San Antonio, Texas. Starting pay is $13.00–$13.50 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, company policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
