About The Position

As a Cash Posting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our hospital by accurately and efficiently posting and reconciling cash transactions. This position requires a meticulous eye for detail, an understanding of financial processes, and a commitment to upholding our values.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months previous experience in billing and/or medical role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Administer Petty Cash responsibilities.
Collaborate with billing and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
Ensure daily reconciliation of cash deposits with meticulous documentation.
Handle over-the-counter (OTC) transactions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Manage patient refunds effectively.
Post and reconcile cash transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Process payments efficiently, including those from insurance companies and direct mail.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for the maintenance of department records, reports, and files.
