About The Position

The Cash Office Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates uphold the company’s customer experience practices and positive store culture, accurately process customer purchases and returns, and support merchandising, store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
