About The Position
An established local company specializing in property development, asset management, property management, and residential construction is seeking an experienced accounting professional. The role manages cash flow, reconciles bank statements, processes a large volume of bank transactions, maintains accurate financial records, and assists with projects as needed. It contributes to the financial health and success of the organization by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 2 years of previous banking or treasury experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with high-volume data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of MRI or other accounting software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, a dedicated work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting essential deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily bank transactions.
- Prepare and process deposits, transfers, and wires.
- Process ACH/EFT payments.
- Produce daily and weekly cash reports.
- Reconcile accounts receivable.
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Assist with projects as needed.
