About The Position

RESSCO QSR is seeking a reliable and trustworthy part-time Cash & Bank Courier to support Subway restaurant operations throughout Livingston County, Michigan. The courier uses a personal vehicle to travel between designated Subway stores and local bank branches, collecting and transporting cash deposits, completing deposits, obtaining change when needed, and ensuring funds are handled safely and accurately.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position offering $20 per hour, consistent part-time hours, and mileage reimbursement. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, have a valid driver's license and reliable insured transportation, and successfully complete a criminal background check.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance coverage.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• High level of integrity, honesty, and accountability.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to balance deposit documentation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to drive throughout Livingston County on a daily or scheduled route.
• Ability to lift and carry coin bags and cash deposits up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to enter and exit a vehicle multiple times during a shift.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in cash handling, banking, courier services, retail management, or restaurant operations.
• Experience making bank deposits or handling change orders.

Responsibilities

• Visit up to 11 Subway restaurant locations on a regular schedule.
• Collect sealed cash deposits from designated store managers.
• Transport deposits securely to assigned bank locations.
• Complete bank deposit slips and other required documentation accurately.
• Process cash deposits and obtain bank receipts for each transaction.
• Pick up change orders and coin requests from the bank.
• Deliver change orders to the appropriate restaurant locations.
• Maintain detailed records of pickups, deposits, and change deliveries.
• Follow company security procedures and cash-handling protocols.
• Immediately report discrepancies, shortages, or unusual situations to management.
• Maintain professional communication with restaurant managers and company leadership.
