About The Position

The Cash Analyst II identifies daily cash receipts by policy number for application in the receivable system and resolves unapplied cash transactions through internal and external follow-up as needed. The role supports payment posting, responds to requests from brokers, underwriters, and management, and contributes to reporting, system testing, and process enhancements. Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Team player.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proactive in resolving problems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify and suggest ways to improve existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify cash receipts at the policy and company level.
• Prepare a daily cash log of payments used for posting and applying payments.
• Document unapplied cash transactions.
• Review broker backups and help resolve unapplied and unidentified cash.
• Send emails and follow up on resolving unapplied cash.
• Respond to requests from brokers, underwriters, and management.
• Issue reports.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Perform special projects as required.
• Provide backup support as needed.
• Participate in and support system testing and process enhancements.
