About The Position

The Case Picker works in a freezer warehouse on the second shift, using pallet jack equipment to assemble customer orders and deliver products to the required area while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes inspecting equipment, identifying and recording materials, picking products with the correct lot numbers and product codes, updating inventory, arranging stock for assembly, and reporting damaged products. The position may also involve operating other machinery and material-handling equipment.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to give voice commands in English may be required.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; the weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-use inspections of pallet jack equipment.
Mark materials with identifying information.
Open boxes and other containers when necessary.
Pick products and verify the correct selection of lot numbers and product codes.
Record material quantities using site-specific equipment to update inventory.
Arrange stock parts in a specific order for assembly.
Communicate damaged products to inventory personnel or a lead/supervisor.
Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment.
Deliver products to the required area while following safety standards, policies, and procedures.
