About The Position
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a qualified Workers Compensation Case Manager to support the firm’s legal team. The role manages day-to-day operations, carries out administrative services, and supports the legal team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Type at least 35 words per minute.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and the WCAB.
- Gather relevant documentation, including reports and records.
- Monitor medical treatment progress.
- Track case deadlines, hearings, and status updates using case management software.
- Provide exceptional client service by keeping clients informed of case progress and explaining procedures and timelines.
