About The Position

This position involves regular exposure to the risk of bloodborne/airborne disease and contact with patients under various circumstances. The role may expose the individual to unpleasant elements such as accidents, injuries, chemicals, and illness. The Case Manager will handle varying and unpredictable situations, including emergencies, crises, or pressured situations. The role is subject to multiple interruptions and may require extended or irregular hours. Judgment and actions taken in this role can impact patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program
• Current Mississippi RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with all patient populations and members of the healthcare team

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Case management experience
• Utilization Review experience
