About The Position

Medlytix, a healthcare consulting and technology company specializing in predictive analytics for revenue cycles and collections, is hiring a Case Manager to interface with the legal community, increase reimbursement, and resolve open receivables for its clients. The role analyzes and responds to attorney communications, negotiates settlements, and identifies obstacles to account resolution.

Requirements

• Bodily injury claims experience.
• Settlement negotiation experience with attorneys.
• Ability to provide qualitative analysis of attorney communications and disposition legal demands.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with quality and accuracy.
• Computer skills, including navigating multiple user interfaces and inputting data into software programs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of bodily injury claims experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience working with or for law firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide qualitative analysis of attorney communications.
• Support company practices with patient attorneys through inbound and outbound phone calls and electronic communications.
• Disposition legal demands within company guidelines.
• Negotiate settlements with law firms and communicate to resolve third-party liability (TPL) and bodily injury claims.
• Document thorough and accurate records of interactions.
• Identify and resolve obstacles to payment, including updating insurance or attorney and adjuster contact information, rebilling, or submitting new bills.
• Contribute to and employ continuous-improvement and best-practice techniques for overall team success.
