We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Position: Case Manager Supervisor/Client Care Coordinator The Case Manager Supervisor ensures that Case Manager deliver services to victims of domestic violence persons of varied, racial, ethnic, cultural, sexual preference and socioeconomic backgrounds. The Case Manager Supervisor supervises Case Managers and the Housing Specialists. Our Victory I program is a facility that provides comprehensive services and safe, anonymous housing for individuals and their children experiencing domestic violence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with three years’ experience providing and two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of counseling and advocacy techniques for people who have been victims of domestic violence, including crisis intervention and case management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication, including basic computer skills, and the ability to work with multiple agencies.

Nice To Haves

  • Awareness of relationship violence, child abuse, stalking, sexual abuse, and assault is preferred.
  • Candidates with related experience with domestic violence preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Case Managers and Housing Specialists while supporting the daily operations of the shelter offices.
  • Lead clients through the intake and assessment process to provide orientation to the program and to identify safety needs.
  • Educate clients about the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and options/resources available.
  • Provide crisis intervention for victims and their children.
  • Provide advocacy services and support to survivors of relationship violence, stalking, and sexual assault or abuse and their children.
  • Develop and maintain positive linkages with clients, internal and external agency services, generic community resources, and state/city liaisons.
  • Ensure adequate supervision is provided to program staff through daily oversight, regularly scheduled supervision, staff meetings and the performance evaluation process.
  • Document case management and Housing Specialist activities in a confidential, timely and concise manner.
