Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a talented Child Welfare Case Manager Supervisor to make an impact in the lives of others, serving clients in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. This role requires an active Child Welfare Certification or Child Welfare Supervisor Certification, with limited exceptions for out-of-state equivalent experience or a Child Protection Certification. Direct, hands-on child welfare experience is mandatory; adjacent experience will not be considered. Misrepresentation of credentials will result in immediate disqualification. The Case Manager Supervisor I supervises and monitors an assigned group of workers, ensuring staff performance aligns with agency contract goals and requirements. Advanced knowledge of Florida Child Welfare statutes, administrative code, and operating procedures is necessary. This position requires advanced skills in communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, with regular meetings to mentor and monitor performance. Responsibilities include onboarding new staff, coordinating and tracking required training hours for certification, and assessing the progress of new case managers. Supervisors participate in recruitment and hiring and may create Employee Improvement Plans. If working at a residential facility, this is a non-direct care position.
