Supervise Case Managers, Retention Specialists, and Eligibility staff Reviews participant case files weekly to ensure compliance with contractual agreements May perform case management, eligibility and data entry duties for customer as needed Partner with Performance and Quality team to ensure performance expectations are met and data entry meets quality expectations. Compile data for reporting progress of programs for Program Leadership In collaboration with Program Trainer, conducts trainings with new hires and ongoing training with tenured staff. Partners with leadership team to develop corrective action plans Participate in staff meetings, training initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Implements and monitors adherence to program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Support preparation for audits, monitoring reviews, and compliance visits. Collaborate with Job Developer/Employer Engagement team to connect job seekers with employers Track staff productivity and performance metrics including enrollment, attendance, performance outcomes, and participant expenditures weekly Provide coaching, guidance, and corrective feedback to staff to improve quality and performance. Provide information regarding available services to business community. Support outreach, recruitment, and participant engagement efforts. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in workforce development or recruitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Should have a considerable skill in interviewing techniques and good knowledge of all functions of industry clusters.
  • Familiarity with communities being served with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
  • Demonstrated performance in placing program participants into employment.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating with area employers.
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance that meets the State of TX requirements
  • Experience conducting quality assurance activities, such as planning and conducting case file or records reviews in a workforce or human services environment as a reviewer, monitor or case manager
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of computers and knowledge of data management processes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of eligibility determination processes and filing procedures
  • Demonstrate good communication, telephone and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct training sessions and do presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience working with various Federal/State programs including TANF, SNAP, TAA, AEL and Employment Services (WIT)
  • Knows the Dallas Area or can get to destinations using maps/GPS
