About The Position

As a Case Law Analyst, you will contribute to the monitoring, updating, and quality of information related to judicial decisions selected for publication in our works and databases. You will play a key role in maintaining case law histories and supporting internal teams in research and decision monitoring. You are recognized for your rigor, analytical skills, and ease with legal research tools. You enjoy working with precision in a digital environment and contributing to the quality of reference legal content. This position may interest you.

Requirements

A diploma in legal techniques
Experience and solid skills in legal research
A good ability to work in a highly computerized environment
Ease in learning new software, tools, and systems
A methodical, meticulous, and structured approach
Excellent analytical skills
Good knowledge of legal classification and retrieval tools, such as La Référence, Westlaw, Azimut, Excel, etc.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and ability to use the "plumitif" (court record)
Ability to communicate in English

Responsibilities

Monitor various decisions and keep histories up to date
Enter and update data in our databases and internal tools
Monitor requests for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court and final decisions rendered by that Court
Respond to internal research requests related to case law histories
Prioritize work to contribute to the achievement of production objectives
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of legal information
