About The Position

Amivero is seeking a highly motivated Lead Case Analyst to provide both operational support and leadership within a dynamic and mission-focused team. This role requires hands-on execution of day-to-day tasks, as well as oversight and guidance of a small team supporting compliance, data integrity, financial analysis, and law enforcement operations for federal programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing competing priorities. They will serve as a subject matter expert while fostering team performance and accountability through effective leadership, coaching, and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree + 5 years of relevant professional experience in compliance, financial support, or program analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and manage operational workflows effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • US Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) and federal databases is preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal financial reporting and audit standards is a plus.
  • Public Trust DHS Public Trust preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision, task delegation, and support to a small team of analysts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables across team functions.
  • Mentor junior staff and support professional development through coaching and feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize team initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and ensure compliance with client expectations and agency standards.
  • Support and participate in compliance and law enforcement actions for federal client adjudicating the petitioning and approved institutions.
  • Cross train team members on Intake, Pre-adjudications, Locked Petition Requests, Designated School Officials Updates and Email management/verifications.
  • Provide Quality Control audits on pre-adjudications of Initials, Updates, and Recertification petitions. Also includes QA to email management, Petition Request edits and ticket processing.
  • Facilitate Weekly Team meetings to discuss trending topics, process improvement updates, and contract related items.
  • Liaison with the Response Center to collaborate between units on stakeholder inquiries, management of petitions, management of methods, and status updates to pending petitions under adjudication review.
  • Coordinate, plan and develop presentations on quarterly basis with Response Center.
  • Supports Federal staff by planning, initiating, managing, and executing mission-oriented tasks and projects while ensuring the relevant status, cost, and legislative compliance requirements are reported and met.
  • Reviews DHS and other systems to determine their ability to identify red flags and compliance concerns as they relate to school petitions.
  • Provides technical assistance to other Units as it relates to petition submissions.
  • Examines the training process documentation for Analysts and implements process improvements.
  • Reviews job aids for process improvement and operational efficiency to ensure analysts can easily utilize the job aids daily.
  • Conduct open-source research and analysis to inform federal adjudicative decisions.
  • Review Initial, Update, and Recertification Petitions for completeness and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records in government systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and customer custom-developed systems.
  • Accept or reject application packages based on eligibility and documentation standards.
  • Gather, record, and analyze data to support decision-making and develop actionable insights.
  • Respond to inquiries from the Response Center regarding petition status and procedural guidance.
  • Provide administrative support including meeting preparation, deliverable production, and project coordination.
