CUA 7 Case Aide
About The Position
Case Aides play an important role in supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. In this position, you will work directly with families identified by the Department of Human Services who may need help improving parenting skills and creating a safe, stable home environment. In this role you will assist families in learning and practicing skills that reduce safety risks and promote healthy child development. This work includes providing hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to help families build the tools they need to care for their children successfully. Case Aide’s have strong knowledge of child welfare protective services issues and the needs of high risk, vulnerable families. The Department of Human Services based on concerns regarding parenting skills and ability to maintain children in a safe environment identifies client families. This intensive program will assist families in developing parenting practices and skills that reduce safety risks and enhance ability to provide a nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with families identified by the Department of Human Services who may need help improving parenting skills and creating a safe, stable home environment.
- Assist families in learning and practicing skills that reduce safety risks and promote healthy child development.
- Provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to help families build the tools they need to care for their children successfully.
- Visit homes, schools, and other locations to provide support, check on children’s safety, and help families put into practice the skills they need to create a stable home.
