About The Position

Case Administrators play a vital support role in probation teams, helping to keep the public safe by giving people the chance to turn their lives around and building a rewarding professional career. This is an administrative job within the Probation Service. The role offers the chance to make a difference, gain new skills and build a rewarding career within the Probation Service. Successful applicants may be based in a wide variety of office, court, team, or prison locations within the Probation Service region. Allocations will be made according to business need. Case administrators play an important role in the Probation Service, supporting probation staff to work with people on probation. As a case administrator, you’ll ensure all processes run efficiently, systems are maintained properly, and probation information is collated and prepared for case files. You’ll use your strong communication skills to handle enquiries from colleagues, agencies and people on probation in a busy environment.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must have and maintain the legal right to live and work in the Civil Service and in the United Kingdom
  • Must be able to complete VISOR vetting
  • Must be able to complete Civil Service Judgement test (CSJT)
  • Must be able to provide truthful, factually accurate examples and statements taken directly from your own experience for the application
