About The Position

Assist CASAS with creative media needs for events, marketing, and print and digital materials.

Requirements

  • Current Liberty University student in good standing with the University
  • Able to work between 12-16 hours a week (between the hours of 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday)
  • Possess a creative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn
  • Able to give and receive creative feedback
  • Understanding of social media platforms
  • Professionalism to interact with department and university leaders
  • Eligible for Federal Work Study, Work Assistant, or International Work Supplement (depending on position)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information.
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
  • Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of social media management tools and methods
  • Experience in social media content creation

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and produce compelling content for CASAS social media accounts, fostering active engagement with our audience.
  • Contribute to ongoing photography and video-driven needs on social, to develop/edit/produce video and concepts.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with CASAS and University guidelines to maintain brand consistency.
  • Adhere to the established social media content calendar for timely post publication.
  • Collaborate closely with other creative and university teams for social media assignments.
  • Analyze social media metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct research on competitor content and promotional strategies to glean insights into industry best practices.
  • Contribute to special projects and events that enhance CASAS's marketing initiatives.

  • Starting at $12.77
  • Student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour.
