About The Position

The Carts and Carry-Out Associate assists with incoming freight and ensures it reaches the sales floor, along with other assigned duties. The role includes serving customers, retrieving and returning shopping carts, loading purchases into customer vehicles, maintaining the parking lot and cart area, helping in other departments, and performing store maintenance as needed. Associates must follow Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures. The position may require evening work and at least every other weekend.

Requirements

• Great communication skills.
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incoming freight and ensure it reaches the sales floor.
• Greet and thank customers and provide customer service.
• Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store.
• Load purchased goods into customer vehicles.
• Monitor and clean the parking lot and cart area.
• Help in other departments as assigned.
• Perform store maintenance as needed.
• Demonstrate awareness of and comply with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures.
