About The Position

As an entry-level team member, the Cart Pusher supports a variety of retail tasks and additional store services involving products and customer service. Meijer Courtesy Team Members interact with people and provide above-and-beyond customer service. The role includes retrieving shopping carts, maintaining store and parking lot cleanliness, assisting with returns, and working with several store areas and departments. The job profile is not all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Great listening and communication skills.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
