About The Position

Meijer is hiring an entry-level Cart Attendant and Courtesy Team Member. The role provides exposure to retail tasks involving store services, products, and customer service. Courtesy Team Members interact with customers and provide service that goes above and beyond. The position supports the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, parking lot, and a range of store departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
