About The Position

Meijer Cart Attendants are entry-level team members who support retail tasks and additional store services while providing above-and-beyond customer service. The role involves retrieving shopping carts, maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store, assisting with returns, and working across store areas and departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

• Be highly organized and attentive to detail.
• Have strong listening and communication skills.
• Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
• Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
