About The Position

The Cart Attendant gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance, keeping carts available, clean, and in working order. The role also removes trash and debris from parking areas and the club exterior, maintains outdoor grounds, performs cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the club, and returns new and unused merchandise to the sales floor. Team members follow club policies and procedures, support a safe and positive member experience, work collaboratively, and may perform duties in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• May be under 18 to perform parking lot cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.
• Frequently lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be moved with assistance.
• Use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.

Nice To Haves

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience.
• Prior retail or wholesale experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Remove trash and debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
• Keep carts stocked at the club entrance and ensure they are clean and in working order; remove carts unsuitable for use.
• Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning, including wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, and pulling pallets.
• Maintain outdoor club grounds, including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
• Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities efficiently across the club.
• Follow club policies and procedures and complete other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment and deliver service to club members.
