About The Position

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Cart Attendant to join its Courtesy Team. The role provides exposure to retail tasks related to store services, products, and customer service. Courtesy Team Members interact with customers and provide service that goes above and beyond expectations. The position supports store operations by retrieving carts, maintaining cleanliness, handling returns, and assisting across designated store areas and departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
