About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Support Services team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Philadelphia or New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role serves as the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with designated clients, supporting reinsurance account teams by managing ongoing client needs, projects, and deliverables from start to finish. The individual will partner closely with senior colleagues and client teams to strengthen account relationships, identify opportunities, and help deliver customized solutions that meet client objectives.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in reinsurance accounting and claims
  • Experience managing day-to-day client relationships and delivering work in a client-facing, professional services environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives to completion and coordinate across internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct research, perform benchmarking and data analysis, and support proposal and presentation development

  • Experience leading client meetings and providing consulting advice in partnership with senior professionals
  • Prior experience supervising or guiding junior colleagues in project delivery

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for designated clients; overseeing select client account activities from a global perspective, addressing client concerns, and following up on correspondence to help strengthen and grow client relationships
  • Manage individual client projects to completion, including action planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring service meets or exceeds expectations; may supervise junior colleagues on project execution
  • Develop an understanding of client businesses by conducting research; prepare premium, claim account analysis, and peer benchmarking studies for client and/or internal team use
  • Support designated accounts with core account management tasks, including liaising with internal senior professionals, coordinating meeting logistics, gathering information from carriers and colleagues, and working with legal as necessary
  • Lead and/or participate in client and internal meetings in support of delivering consulting advice; mitigate account concerns and apply judgment on escalation to senior colleagues
  • Conduct and refine data analyses to support client presentations; draft and/or oversee completion of essential comprehensive client-facing project documentation
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to build professional networks, maintain market proximity, and represent the Company
  • Maintain fluency in company and carrier products, colleagues, and operations to enhance client support and expand capabilities
