Carrier Account Manager
About The Position
Avenue Logistics is seeking a Carrier Account Manager in Chicago, IL, to support enterprise-level accounts and work directly with a tenured Sales Representative. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role focused on truckload account management and day-to-day freight execution. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and performance-based commission tied to company success. The role involves booking and managing dedicated lanes across carrier accounts, coordinating a high-volume base of dedicated and private fleets, and monitoring more than 100 daily pickups and deliveries. The Carrier Account Manager communicates with carriers and internal Avenue representatives, resolves service issues in real time, and uses multiple internal systems to manage shipments efficiently.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in freight transportation; 3PL experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented, with a sense of urgency and ownership.

Responsibilities
