About The Position

Modernistic is seeking an experienced Carpet Cleaning Technician for its Grand Rapids, Michigan location. The family-owned company provides cleaning and restoration services throughout Michigan and emphasizes customer delight, teamwork, and promoting from within. The technician will complete one to three weeks of training on Modernistic’s technology and processes before becoming a Lead Technician. The role involves serving residential and commercial customers, working with a partner, and leading a truck and assistant in the field.

Requirements

At least one year of carpet cleaning experience.
Valid Michigan driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Ability to move and lift 50 pounds or more.
Exceptional communication skills.
Friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude.
Dependability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Complete one to three weeks of training on Modernistic technology and processes before becoming a Lead Technician.
Provide outstanding service to customers in their homes and businesses.
Work with a partner to deliver carpet cleaning services to industry standards for residential and commercial customers.
Lead and manage the truck and assistant in the field.
Educate customers about additional services offered by Modernistic.
Stock the vehicle with equipment and supplies each day and maintain its cleanliness and organization.
