About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Carpenter Trainee to assist with residential remodeling installations. The Installer helps perform safe, effective work in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role is based in Salisbury, Maryland, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 AM start. The approximate pay range is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing bath or shower fixtures and install a new tub or pan and wall surround; update plumbing if needed.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while performing safe and effective installations.
• Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
